Venus Legacy Fat Reduction + Tightening

You only have one body, love the one you’re in.

As we get older, our bodies naturally start to produce less collagen and store more fat, leading to a greater chance of wrinkles, sagging skin, and even cellulite.

The Venus Legacy is designed to tighten the skin by stimulating collagen production. It does so with the heat it generates and delivers to the skin and fat layers. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body. One of its primary roles is to provide structure to the skin, keeping it tight and firm. Unfortunately, the body’s collagen production decreases by about 1% per year. This is why it’s natural for the skin to become loose over time. The toll of gravity then exacerbates the effects, pulling the skin down and making it sag. Body Contouring helps counter those effects by inducing collagen production. It can also boost blood circulation while causing the skin to contract. These actions can then help make the skin look plumper and even thicker.

Tighter Skin, happier you!

Venus Legacy™ Skin Tightening has been proven medically to help provide positive results on nearly every area of the face and body. As we age, skin laxity becomes a more prominent issue as the collagen and elastin production in our skin is significantly decreased.

The procedures make our clients feel happier and more confident, and we’re sure you’ll feel the same way too! Most of our clients are suffering from:

  • Cellulite on their body.
  • Saggy or loose skin on your abdomen, arms, buttocks, legs or neck.
  • Skin laxity after an operation, weight loss, or childbirth.

It Makes a Noticeable Difference

This treatment will make a true, visual impact on your appearance. It will noticeably tighten, tone, and smooth your skin. Finally, you can have glowing results that you will actually see.

It Treats Multiple Issues

Your body uses collagen in many ways. By stimulating the production of this protein and helping your cells renew themselves, this treatment can target many of the signs of aging all at once. You can use it to address specific issues, such as wrinkles, stretch marks, or areas of loose skin, however, you will also enjoy a general boost in your skin’s brightness and overall texture.

FAQs

Does the treatment work on darker skin, too?

Absolutely! Venus Legacy™ uses advanced radio frequency technology to safely and comfortably heat the tissue under the skin’s surface. Radio frequency technology has been proven to be safe and effective for all skin tones, even darker complexions.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for a treatment?

Preparing for a Venus Legacy™ treatment is simple. Cleanse the skin before your appointment. Do not apply lotions, creams, or makeup to the area being treated prior to the treatment session. Finally, remember to remove all jewelry around the treatment area.

What Does Treatment Feel Like?

This treatment delivers heat, but it does so painlessly. Some patients even compare it to a hot stone massage. The device auto-regulates its temperature, ensuring maximum patient comfort throughout the experience. It can also be manually adjusted when we work on more sensitive areas. Overall, your treatment will be pleasant and comfortable.

How Many Times Do I Need to Get Treatment to See Results?

We recommend a series of around six sessions to start. The recommendation could be slightly more or less for you depending on the current condition of your skin. Unlike some treatments, which require a few weeks in between each session, you can schedule your appointments about one week apart. The reason for this is that the radio frequency is extremely gentle, so your skin does not need time to recover afterward.

How will I feel after my treatment?

Most patients feel relaxed after a Venus Legacy™ session. In fact, the treatment is so comfortable that some patients have even fallen asleep! The treated area may feel warm to the touch post-treatment, but this sensation will subside.

Is there any downtime?

There is no downtime at all. The treatment area may appear a little flushed and feel warm to the touch immediately afterward, but these sensations will disappear within one to two hours post-treatment.

Do I need to do anything after my treatment?

Absolutely nothing! In fact, feel free to apply makeup or lotion immediately after the treatment. You can go back to your regular routine right away.

How long will the results last? Are they permanent?

Venus Legacy™ treatments are cumulative, meaning that you will see improved results with each additional treatment. After the final session in your treatment plan, the results will continue to improve for up to three to four months. Of course, everyone’s skin and body will continue to age as usual, so maintenance is recommended. Your treatment provider will be able to suggest the best plan for maintenance.

How Long Does It Take?

One big advantage to this treatment is that it can be done quickly. You can even schedule it during your lunch break. For the face and most other areas of the body, the total time you will spend from start to finish is about 30-45 min. If you choose to get treated in multiple areas during the same appointment, you can expect us to spend half an hour on each section.

How Is This Treatment Done?

The radiofrequency is delivered by a small hand-held device to heat the skin. We will apply the hand piece in smooth, broad strokes that heat up the skin

How Old Should I Be to Start This Treatment?

There is no standard age for starting this treatment. It is used to treat an impressive range of ages. Forma patients include people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s+. Younger people love how it keeps their skin smooth, while people with more advanced concerns love the improvement it offers. So, when should you begin? Whenever you feel you are ready for professional care that will significantly improve the texture and tone of your skin.

Is It Safe?

One of the reasons many patients choose this treatment is because it is so safe and gentle. It is FDA approved and used regularly by thousands. While some treatments are suitable for certain skin types but not others, this method works for all. One of the best safety features is the auto-regulation element that makes sure that the device produces an appropriate level of heat throughout the session.

Will these treatments work for everyone?

Venus Legacy treatments may be the ideal solution for anyone who has pockets of cellulite and/or excess body fat that they can’t seem to get rid of with diet and exercise alone. They can help improve the appearance of skin that is starting to lose elasticity and is showing early signs of sagging and wrinkles.

For safety reasons, anyone with the following conditions may not be able to get treatments with Venus Legacy

  • Active inflammation and/or an infection around the treatment area
  • Current or history of cancer
  • A degenerative neurologic disease or any other disease around the treatment area that’s stimulated by heat (e.g. herpes)
